Yoko Ballard

Ballard Sensei was raised in Japan and moved to the States where she studied Fine Arts and Illustration at the University of San Francisco and the Academy of Art University. A trained Waldorf teacher, Ballard Sensei has taught in various roles at various schools in Hawaii and California. Before her teaching, Ballard Sensei worked as an animator at Lucasarts Entertainment Company in San Rafael for ten years. Currently she leads our Handwork Program and Japanese Program.
