A Year’s Fulfillment
The students gathered on the field for a game of all-school Duck-Duck-Goose and a closing circle to mark the end of the year.
Dear Members of The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara Community,
“The spiritual aspect of the human being,” says Ms. Kaster, “should be reflected in all we do.”
This community is composed of people who have something extraordinary in common: the desire to lovingly, holistically, and rigorously educate children. And—importantly—in a manner that never loses sight of the awareness that, as Waldorf teacher John Gardner says, “spirit is always basic.”
We feel honored to provide this kind of education to your child. We feel proud to see our beautiful 8th Graders graduate. And we fervently hope that this education—this loving, spiritual education that honors the whole of the child—is not only helpful for your child and family but the greater Santa Barbara community, and the world beyond.
Thank you to all the families who showed up to give a hand for our Move Up Day. Many hands made lighter work, and we are grateful!
We end this year’s last newsletter with words from John Lennon:
Well, we all shine on
Like the moon and the stars and the sun.
Happy Summer,
The Admin Team
Our 2025 8th Grade graduates! Congratulations to Ms. Anderson and all of the students!
