Annual Giving Campaign and other Crucially Important Matters!
Dear Members of The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara Community,
Please carefully read the following message from Debbie Shaw, our Board Chair, regarding our -- crucial! -- Annual Campaign, which starts today:
Dear Waldorf Community,
Our children are thriving and life is good here at WSSB -- what more can we ask for? What we ask for is a tax-deductible donation to The Annual Giving Campaign.
What?
Goal 1: 100% School-Wide Participation (Parents, Faculty/Staff, Board) with community donating as well.
Goal 2: $60,000.
Why?
Fundraising covers 10% of our total budget bridging the gap between revenue and expenses.
When?
Now.
Ask of yourselves and your family (parents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters); ask of friends, employers, neighbors, any fans of your kids, and philanthropists/giving societies for support.
How?

How much?
An amount equal to one month’s tuition is recommended. If that is too much, give what you can. If you can’t do the full amount at once, pledge a monthly donation for the remaining 6 months of the school year and give what you can.
Remember to ask grandparents, employers, friends, neighbors, or philanthropists/giving societies for support.
Resources?
Debbie Shaw Booth, Board Chair, and Olivier Deschenes, Treasurer, can answer your questions!
Thank you very much,
Debbie Shaw Booth
Board Chair
