Kati Ochoa

Kati Ochoa is a long time member of the WSSB community. Kati grew up in Los Angeles, studied Child Development in San Diego and Los Angeles, and started working as a Lead Preschool Teacher at the age of 22. She later moved to Santa Barbara and started her own family. Kati joined WSSB as the After Care Director and has held that position for many years. She was a parent in the community as well with one of her two boys graduating from WSSB. Kati has continued her education throughout the years taking Early Childhood classes at Rudolf Steiner College and attending cooking school. Among her many passions are enjoying the outdoors, cooking, and building community.  The children of WSSB are very important to her and we are lucky to have her sharing her gifts as our Lower Grades Games and Grades Aftercare Teacher. As Kati says in her own words, “assisting the children warms my heart. This school is home to me and I look forward to supporting the community in the best way that I can.”
