Brooke obtained a BS in Geological Sciences from UCSB. She then enrolled in a teaching credential program at Chapman University, with the intention of becoming a science teacher in the public sector. During this time she worked as an assistant teacher at La Patera elementary school.

Being uninspired with this experience in public education and expecting her first child, she decided to delay pursuing her credential to focus on motherhood. Brooke was then introduced to Waldorf education through a mother-baby group.

The focus on the whole child and the sense of loving reverence for childhood itself inspired Brooke to pursue Waldorf teacher training. Brooke graduated from the Waldorf Institute of Southern California in May of 2017.

While pursuing her Waldorf teaching certification, she worked as an assistant teacher in the Kindergarten for two years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge with her current class.

When not working Brooke enjoys playing with her sons in nature, long walks, dancing, and creating beautiful things.
