Brooke Anderson earned a B.S. in Geological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara. She then enrolled in a teaching credential program at Chapman University with the intention of becoming a science teacher in the public sector. During this time she also worked as an assistant teacher at La Patera elementary school.

Uninspired by her stint in public education and expecting her first child, Brooke decided to delay pursuing her credential to focus on motherhood. Brooke was then introduced to Waldorf Education through a mother-baby group. Brooke graduated from the Waldorf Institute of Southern California in May of 2017.

While pursuing her Waldorf teaching certification, Brooke also worked as an assistant teacher in the WSSB Kindergarten for two years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge with her current class.

Outside of WSSB, Brooke enjoys playing with her sons in nature, long walks, dancing, and creating beautiful things.
