Brina Carey
Brina has spent her career working in the nonprofit and public sector with a focus on the outdoors and public lands. She holds a BS in Outdoor Recreation Administration from SDSU. Brina works as the Director of Operations for Sharks Pacific, a shark research and conservation organization. She previously freelanced as a creative consultant for small businesses and nonprofits, assisting with digital marketing and online communications. Brina has worked at numerous environmental nonprofit organizations, as an outdoor educator and guide, and for the CA Department of Parks and Recreation as a field biologist, natural resource interpreter and CEQA analyst.
Brina’s hobbies include surfing, traveling, camping and boating with her family, and hiking with her dog. She has one child at WSSB and is honored to be a member of the board.
