Amanda Roe

Amanda joined Waldorf School of Santa Barbara in 2022 as a Learning Support Specialist.  She is originally from the Finger Lakes Region of New York where she received her B.S. in Childhood Education at Oswego State University. Before trading snowy, cold winters for sunny, warm beaches, she received her teaching credential in NY.  In 2010, she relocated to California and has experience teaching at public and private schools in Orange County and Santa Barbara.   Her background is in elementary education, but she has spent the past several years focusing on specializing in literacy.  She loves cooking with her family and spending time at the beach.  She lives in Goleta with her husband and daughter.
